Oh, the power of a Vision Board. It is a beautiful place to post our dreams and goals. I have various vision boards going at once - a list of my goals, a few pictures I have saved on Pinterest, a log of what I am so very grateful for, journals, brainstorm sessions, etc. They are all in some way or another about a vision we have for ourselves, our families, our business, our work. All are important and guide us on our journey. This is the time of year where vision boarding kicks into high gear - what do you want from this year?
Stop for a moment and take a look around - you are living and working in your vision board. What do your surroundings look like right now? Sure, there may be a bit of dust and some glitter left over from the holidays but really look around. Is there anything broken? Cobwebs? Stuff you don't like? Do your surroundings inspire you? Are you comfortable?
What if your home reflected your vision? Our lives are ever evolving and your home and workspace should also be growing with you. Feng Shui ignites the power of vision in your space. It brings awareness to your surroundings. Everything that surrounds us is an unconscious reminder. Hmmm, now look around again. Feng Shui is a practice and one that moves with your life, your dreams. Your home should be a nurturing space that holds you as you reach for your goals. Your workspace should be one of support. Your surroundings should represent your life and your journey in the most beautiful way - nurturing, secure, comfortable, supportive.
I offer one on one consultations as well as classes for those that want to DIY. If you are curious about creating a living vision board, download the Bagua Map goal setting page, linked below. Think about a few goals you would like to work towards and note them here. Then, line up the bottom of the page with the front of your home and notice what each area of your home represents. Your next step is to work on clearing the clutter and cleaning up. Note any shifts with simply clearing and cleaning your space.
